Sustainability policy

For us at Care of Sweden, it is important to protect the environment, prevent pollution and contribute to a healthy social development that benefit both man and nature.

We manufacture medical technology equipment for the healthcare sector and our vision is to work together with the care to eliminate pressure ulcers. We look at environmental issues from a holistic perspective where we incorporate our products and services lifecycles into our processes and activities. This contributes to economically, socially and environmentally sustainable development. Through materiality analysis, we identify risks and possibilities that provide a framework for setting environmental goals. It allows us to constantly improve our environmental performance.

Care of Sweden must always consider the overall perspective (benefit – cost – impact) and measure the impact our organisation and our products create from a sustainability perspective. The aim must be to continuously work with improvement. Products and services delivered by Care of Sweden must be produced under conditions that are compatible with human rights according to:

– The ILO’s eight core conventions No. 29, 87, 98, 100, 105, 111, 138 and 182

– UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Article 32

– the worker protection and work environment legislation that applies in the country of manufacture

– the labor law, including minimum wage legislation, and the social security protection applicable in the country of manufacture.

– the UN convention against corruption

Care of Sweden must fulfill the binding requirements placed on our organization.
